The trademark name "Spot Pass" is more suited for generic Nintendo console usage without exclusively tying it to the Wii brand as the former "Wii Connect24" name had done.
I'm not sure if they'll fix this bug in a future release but as of right now that seems to be the best solution.For some people 1 works and 11 doesn't and vice versa.Hopefully your neighbors dont have a wireless setup close enough to yours to interfere, but if they do stay out of the channels they are on because it will cause complications for both of you.Just try doing this to see if it will fix the problem.Another thing that could be holding you back is if your router is set on a channel other than 1 or 11.I've battled with connection problems since the day I finally got a wireless router and I am here to tell you all the fixes I have found for your Wii connection problems.
